In the run-up to this year’s SafetyWeek, a webinar on the topic of scenario-based testing for the validation and release of automated driving functions will take place this Friday organized by carhs.
ANDATA contributes a lecture. As already explained in our previous WienZWA project, the validation of automated driving requires several data sources and scenario catalogues from extensive system simulations, tests at the proving ground and observations from operation in the real traffic environment.
ANDATA’s core competence is the skilful preparation and combination of this data as well as the merging into a uniform scenario catalogue in order to complement and leverage each other. This is intended to achieve a valid and trustworthy release of automated and connected driving functions with reasonable effort.
