This week ANDATA relaunched commodo (complex modelling and simulation operations) at the automotive CAE Grand Challenge 2025, organized by carhs at April 8th and 9th in Hanau.
With this new, extended and refreshed toolkit of commodo, ANDATA enables major functionalities for the Scenario Management of Integral Automotive Safety Systems in the development and assessment of “intelligent occupant restraint systems” in vehicle crash. It utilizes the combination of AI (Artificial Intelligence) with CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) and SDM (Simulation Data Management).
Upcoming automotive safety systems for passenger protection will be able to adapt airbags and other retraint systems individually
- to many more different crash severities,
- to the posititions and poses of the passengers,
- to the stature and constitution of the the passengers.
That way commodo can be delivered as Scenario Management as a Serivce for intelligent, passive automotive safety systems as well as for predictive safety systems in a combinable and integral way.
